Glenwood Taxi

Glenwood is located 40 kilometers north west of the Sydney central business district; it is in the local government area of the City of Blacktown and is part of the Greater Western Sydney region, it is also considered to be part of the Hills District. Glenwood has obtained its name from the historic Glenwood Park property from the 1940′s. It had been previously known as Norfolk Vale (1846-1882) and Sorrento (1882-1941) before being formally recognised as a suburb in 1996.

The area has four schools Glenwood High School, Parklea Public School, Caddies Creek Public School and Holy Cross Primary School with neighbouring suburbs of Parklea, Acacia Gardens, Kings Park, Stanhope Gardens, Kellyville, Kings Langley, Baulkham Hills and Bella Vista. Glenwood is well service by road – the M2 Motorway runs along the southern side of the suburb with a link to the Westlink M7 Motorway, Old Windsor and Sunny holt Roads boarder Glenwood to the east, west and north.
