Glenmore Park Taxi

Glenmore Park is located 59 kilometers west of the Sydney central business district; it is in the local government area of the City of Penrith and is part of the Greater Western Sydney region.

The area now known as Glenmore Park was once home to the Mulgoa Aboriginal people who spoke the Durag Language. Sir John Jamison one of the colonies leading citizens received land grants in the area, by acquiring other parcels of land he established an agricultural estate he named Regentville, he constructed his home here in 1824 which was a victim of arson in the 1860′s.

Fellow prominent landowner Henry Cox also built his home in the area calling it Glenmore, built in 1825 it is after the home that the suburb has been named. The area stayed mostly rural until the 1970′s when the first blocks of land were released for housing. Once known as Peachtree till Penrith Council adopted the more historical sounding Glenmore Park.
