The name Berrilee emerged from an aboriginal word Buraillee relating to having something with mouth or food. Located on the western shore of Berowra Creek, Berrilee is a small township running into the Hawkesbury River.
There’s nothing in the suburb to explore besides a small store near Berowra Waters and another in Arcadia. Some time back, a school got opened which was shut down due to less number of students. Berrilee is bounded by suburbs like Galston, Arcadia Berowra, Hornsby Heights, Mount Ku-ring-gai and Berowra Waters. The only exciting thing here is the pleasant drive to the tranquil settings to Berowra Waters along with other activities like fishing, boating and hiking.
