The name Beacon Hill came into news after the establishment of trigonometric beacon by the department of lands. Here, many of the streets have been built and named after military men served during WW2.
There is not much information on the aboriginal culture in the Beacon Hill area. However the nearby areas have a much colorful background. It is covered by the parts of local government areas of Warringah Council yet surrounded by parts of northern beaches.
The houses in the Beacon Hill area were mostly constructed during the 1950′s and 1960,s when there was seen to be a boom after WW2.
